I've often wondered what the difference is. Okay, experts, speak up.

Workouts are specifically intended to prevent or forestall bankruptcy. Their funds are allocated to pay debt and may not be used for anything else. Unlike a bridge loan, which may be used for virtually anything. A workout is for debt, period.

What if I had something left over after my workout was satisfied? Is the money mine to invest as I wish or does it revert back to the lender? Or what?

Workouts don't work that way. After your application is processed, your loan amount will be the amount needed for you to pay off your debt. Nothing is left over for other purposes. Sorry

A loan is a loan. There's nothing left to chance, ever. The lender wants a close watch on his money to insure he gets it back -- with interest.

Yeah, the bank will get its money back, either in dollars or your property. It's a simple formula. Always has been.

They don't have to. They have you right where they want you and will squeeze you to death. Nice guys. find a good private lender. You'll pay more but you'll get your money fast and you can use it fast, too.

Been gone a while, now I'm back. Send me a message on my private mail, okay?
But I agree with the private money thing. Best way to go now. Their percentages are coming down, their upfront fees are coming down or going away, their speed is still there.
What's not to like? |

Yo, Ace, yo, Money,
Long time no hear. Good to have you back. So what's new in the industry? Which banks failed last month? Which new ones came online? And when's the next water skiing trip? |

You mean when he went flying out with a six-pack in each hand and went rolling through the rapids and came up at the end with both hands still full? Yeah, that was amazing. Never come between Denny and cold Coors.
